I am all about helping others to find their light, or their path in life. I feel that I have found such joy and peace in my life doing this work. Personally it is the best I have ever been.
This morning I see a quote that says....."If you want to motivate others, motivate yourself first." I grazed over it upon my internet travels and went on about my business. It must have been a powerful message I thought to myself as the morning wore on, because I couldnt seem to let go of the meaning of it.
I sat and thought deeper into the meaning of the words. I realized what the message was for me. I am in need of motivation to accomplish the "more" I am internally seeking. I am looking for something to add to my inner strength and power and knew I wasnt finding it. Now I know why.
As I sit in my basement, as I have done for months now, I am reminded of the thoughts I had before I moved to this house. I could work from the basement without being disturbed by the kids....but when I arrived there was so much work to be in cleaning the house and such, I didnt follow through with that plan. I am now. My mind is all a flutter with where to put things and how to set up the office appearance for a site I work on live video. WOW! Here we go!
I am also aware of the physical need for exercise and better health. I refuse to call it a anything close to the nasty four letter word (diet)! I am most pleased with todays lesson, as I am sure you can tell, that is why I am sharing with you.
Life is to be enjoyed, I know that is why we choose to come here, to live the physical existence. The joys and ills of living can become overwhelming at times and we can miss the true point of it all in both aspects. The ego can be quite a twisted winding road to travel as we learn and grow in life. I am grateful for this renewed sense of being today.
Sometimes we get caught up in the rigors of our daily routines and forget to take care of the most important part.....the ME factor. I havent done much SELF work lately. That is changing NOW!
Motivation is here, the sound of change is ringing in my ears and I smile at the revelation that has occurred for me this morning. I welcome in the opportunities to change, and relish in the new possibilities afforded me as I embrace the lesson rather than rebel against it.
I share this with you so perhaps you can see something in your life, on your path that might be better if you picked it up and accepted it rather than side step it and ignore the lesson.
Life is grand and I am on my way to a brighter, improved me!
